(06.29.2009) Claire's recap of last weeks vacation in Claire's exact words as I typed:

Como Zoo. Saw the giraffes, zebras, and all kinds of stuff. Feeding Sparky the seal after his show. There was the pool with all the lily pads.

Claire's favorite parts about vacation? It was everything. swimming, going on water totter, doing everything. everything I love, everything I don't love, everything I super duper love. I love it. please can we go back there? oh sure we can, I love that place, it's so fantastic. I so love that and love that place. I do not know what to do at all. lost lake lodge I love it. I like the food they had, and I liked their. I liked the kayak, I went on a kayak all by myself. I loved the beach and the swimming and the kayaking. I caught a gigantic fish, it was like ten feet tall. I caught everything, all fish, gigantic one. I caught the fish from yanking it so so hard. I was using worms, mixed up worms, a fake worm and a real worm. We had turtle races, and we found one at lost lake lodge. (kids camp) We went on a nature hike. We learned about what the animals are called and not called, we looked at the indian burial spots, because their spirits are still alive. Even one day my teacher said someone digged in it and disturbed the spirits and they got eaten. Mosquitoes and saw pictures of birds, pictures of turtles, pictures of kinds of cats, pictures of everything that lives in there maybe like skunks, foxes, mountain lions, bunnies. we played with games in the cabin, checkers. At vacation we buyed a few things like toys, food, clothes...We saw frogs, turtles, a Water park, I was swimming and we were in the water slide when I was just 5 years old. water slides, we went on the whirly one, out the one that went outside, and one other one but it was too big, you have to swim for it. one the was whirly put us under water and I couldn't breath. my favorite things were going down the water slides, my favorite thing was swimming with my head under water. and we climbed a little net, and went down an orange slide, and down a blue slide, we up some stairs, the tornado pool was great. the tornado pool was like whoo whoo whoo, I was swimming around in a circle. until I learned how to swim, but my brother didn't too, but it was only three foot deep.

Claire. and Garrett. and everything did just loved it.

The End of Claire's and Garrett's story.

(4.26.2009) Decided to start something new here. Claire has been big into art and drawing as of late. So I'm going to try capturing some of her work digitally. Click here to see some of her activity.

(3.28.2009)Wow - I best update what the kids are up to these days. Last year C was intent on becoming a chiropractor. Lately she's decided she wants to be an artist so I've enabled her to explore what that means. For her birthday I got her a drawing book, and she's spent hours with that book drawing the pictures. When she's not drawing her other favorite activity is to play with the doll house Santa brought. She's started to enjoy some private time playing in her room without brother around. Speaking of G, he's still our puzzler, give him any puzzle with less than 50 pieces and he won't quit until it's assembled. Both kids are observant of their environment. We're instructed we need anything advertised on TV, and they're constantly reciting commercial jingles and songs lyrics.

(4.2008) Nana has the book "Snowmen at Christmas" we read. This book has multiple hidden things you have to find. The kids (and parents) had lots of fun trying to locate all the items. Unlike many books this was hard enough we could not locate everything, so it will be fun re-reading again. We hope to get this book for next Christmas.

(1.05.2008) Weather warmed up enough that C and Dad were able to build their first snowman this season. C was happy to have some dad time because tonight the G boy is spending his first night in a BIG BOY BED! Bye bye to the crib.

(1.1.2008) C received a digital camera from Nana and Papa for Christmas. What a treat! Click here to see what Christmas looks like through the eyes of a child. New Year's eve was spent having some fun and doing some ice skating with the kids.
