(12.23.2007) Santa's been here! G was the first one awake and down the stairs. He promptly made his way back to C's room to awaken her. Stockings were the first to fall, filled with lots of trinkets. Next the gifts flew open. Dad could hardly keep up with cutting those cursed plastic ties. Claire thinks Santa left too much. Three more family events to make it through yet, we will need to build a toy addition.

(12.12.2007) Boarded a train in Boone last night and journeyed to the North Pole to see Santa. What a trip. The kids enjoyed hot chocolate, cookies, christmas carols, storytelling, and of course the train ride. It was a magical night for all, all while wearing pajamas!

(12.08.2007) Snow is falling! Kids are having a great time playing outside. Friends joined us for a Christmas Fondue party last night and a great time was had by all. Four hours of eating and socializing, what could be better?

(11.21.2007) Gobble gobble. We have many things to be thankful for this year. Two wonderful kids, friends, and family, a home, jobs, and much more. The first snowfall of the season happened today and we're already looking ahead to Christmas.

(10.30.2007) It's Halloween time already. We've been enjoying the extended warm temps and it's hard to believe it's November already. For everyone that knows D&BVB we are excited to learn they are expecting in May! We also want to wish them best of luck as they move to a Larchwood to take a new job.
