Welcome to the website of Glen and Laura Galvin. We are longtime Iowa residents, and have called Ames home for nearly 10 years. Laura runs her own chiropractic clinic in town. Glen works for ISU as an IT admin for 3 departments, the Virtual Reality Applications Center, Human Computer Interaction graduate program, and the CyberInnovation Institute. We enjoy the many things a college community have to offer, including local access to Broadway musicals and play, plus big and small name musicians and other varied acts. The first time we met Laura was still an undergraduate at Buena Vista University while Glen was working in Cedar Rapids. One thing to another, the relationship did not work out. Years later a couple we setup while dating was getting married and we were both in the wedding party. Fate brought us back together at the wedding and we began to date again. Glen took Laura along to a conference in New Orleans where Glen proposed and Laura said yes. The night was spent drinking Hurricanes and planning the wedding. After the wedding Laura graduated from Northwestern Chiropractic and opened a clinic in Ames. Fast forward a few years to the joyous addition of two wonderful children to the family.
